I could photograph weddings around Point Reyes every weekend and would never tire of it. I'm not even a huge fan of oysters. It's just a magical, serene place that makes me feel grounded and calm every time I drive up the coast.
When Carmen and Chels first reached out to me, they said their priorities were being with the people they love and eating delicious food. They retained that intention with a ceremony that embodied a deep sense of community, followed by an amazing farm-to-table meal at Olema House.
They found a quiet spot for their ceremony near Hearts Desire Beach, overlooking Tomales Bay. It was such a hidden gem, tucked into nature while still accessible to all, with stunning views in every direction.
I adored Carmen and Chels from the moment we met, and loved how they so beautifully weaved the significance of being queer into their vows and relationship. I cried multiple times that day, including a bonding moment with their mom. So much love, and queer love always.
